Wedding Dress (style, designer, where you bought it): Brides by Demetrios of Troy, MI. Hand beaded /sewn custom gown with a jeweled neckline and cut out back in the shape of a heart.
Shoes: Christian Louboutin -Christian Louboutin Top Vague Cinderella Crystal Wedding White Leather
Bridesmaid Dresses (describe and include where they are from): The Wedding party wore long midnight blue Vera Wang gowns ordered from VeraWang.com and Calvin Klein blushing blush dresses from Macys.
Flowers (types, florist): Bouquets for the Bride and Bridesmaids were a lush mix of Antique Roses, including White O'Hara Garden Roses from Columbia, a mix of Blush-Colored Garden Spray Roses from Columbia, and a mix of Blush & Cream Roses flown in from Ecuador, to embody the Bride's request of a soft pallet of colors.
Cake (flavor, design, bakery): Knudsen’s Bakery in Detroit. Butter cream icing with a yellow, marble and lemon batter tiers. Family owned bakery we have been going there for over 15 years.
Centerpieces (design): The Reception centerpieces, a mix of elevated and low floral arrangements, included a mix of White Hydrangea, Blush & Cream Roses from Ecuador, Premium Gypsophilia, and Seeded Eucalyptus foliage.
Favors: Candy table provided by Mahogany party Affairs and engagement photos provided my Marco Antonio Photography.
Rings (describe and include where you got them): Both rings were designed and custom made by our personal jeweler Christopher Kubiski – Christopher Lee Designs. Bride ring is 2.5 carats with a personal engraving from the groom, “MY 1st love MNB (Melanie Nicole Bowers.) Groom ring is also engraved with the wedding date 9-11-16 and is custom made by the same jeweler all rings are set in a platinum finish. The bride has an infinity band that criss -crosses which matches the crisscross on her engagement ring and the groom’s ring. The crisscross is a symbol of the love we share for one another. Two hearts over lapping as one.
Special thing you had to have: Live Saxophonist that played here comes the bride as I walked down the isle and 3,000 hand picked roses in the shape of a heart down the isle that was personally designed by an artist (see photo). Got the idea from Pinterest.
Most memorable moment: Most brides say the look on their husband’s face. I say, our first kiss. He kissed me with so much passion, love and excitement. It was like our first kiss all over again.
Invitations (describe and include where you got them): Invitations were from Touch of Elegance. The outside cover was midnight blue with silver sparkle detail laser cut to resemble a cast iron gate. The inside was a blushing pink with silver engraved writing. The invitations closed with a tied silver bow. Theme: Old fashion Kind of Love – To Have and To Hold.
Food (include caterer name): Provided by the venue. Chicken Piccata, Salmon and Season Risotto (Vegan).
Entertainment: Cee Mr. Light Show (DJ), Lamar Willis, Pianist and Daryl Bebe, Saxophonist.
